High Precision
Flow Rate Controller ExaFlo® Easier and more
exact adjustment. |
||||||
|
Can be easily and accurately adjusted. ExaFlo is designed for a secure grip,
allowing easy and accurate adjustment with a simple turn of the flow
controller. The particular internal design offers high accuracy on lower flow
rates, so that ExaFlo® can be safely used for
pediatric therapies. |

More constant infusion rates without re-adjustment ·
Control of the flow volume independent of the tubing
ensures comparably more constant infusion rate ·
Use of the ExaFlo saves
frequent re-adjustment which is otherwise necessary with a roller clamp. |

·
Set the desired infusion rate quickly and accurately ·
Specific
selection of a graduated rate instead of time-consuming adjustment of
the corresponding drip rate using a roller clamp. |

Optimization of the I.V. infusion
rate thanks to precise adjustment. Exact reproducibility of infusion
rate adjustments for restarting infusions. |
ExaFlo – flow
control independent of tubing: A precision dosing element regulates the flow volume
in accordance with each flow control adjustment. |
ExaFlo vs. a
roller clamp: head-to-head
comparison, ExaFlo delivers
more constant infusion rates: With the roller clamp, the elastic
infusion tubing moves out from under the clamping pressure applied by the
roller wheel within just a short time; this causes the lumen and flow rate to
vary continuously. |
Obtain an infusion target volume with
greater reliability, reducing the
typical risks of gravity infusion, such as under- or over dosage and free
flow. |

The scale values serve as a guide and
refer to infusion with 10% NaCl solution using I.V.
set, G21 cannula and a difference in height of 100
cm between the I.V.bag or bottle and the patient.
Other conditions will result in different values. Therefore, it is absolutely
necessary to monitor the drip rate before starting infusion therapy. |
